The Law Of Attraction For Beginners
By Dwayne Gilbert
The law of attraction is a new term for a very very old concept. This is a concept that has been taught by all of the greatest minds in history in one form or another from Jesus to the Buddha. The law of attraction is very simple in concept, though it does take work and effort to get good at and create incredible results with. However, with the effort and energy it takes to use the law of attraction, there is literally nothing you cannot have in your life if you so desire it. The law of attraction states that what you think about and feel about the most is what you are going to attract more of into your life. It’s that simple, but of course, it’s not that easy.
The law of attraction states that what you think about and feel about the most will attract more things into your life that match or mirror those very same feelings and thoughts. Now, we can begin to control this on a conscious level. It takes time and practice to get good at it, however, it pays in dividends. So basically if you think and feel negative emotions most of the time, you are going to attract more people, situations and things into your life that sustain those emotions and thoughts. If you are a sad person most of the time you are going to attract things into your life that sustain that emotion of being sad. If on the other hand you learn to see and think and feel much more positive in your world then you are going to start to attract more people, situations and things into your life that will sustain those positive thoughts and emotions.
The trick to this is learning to watch what we are thinking about and how we are feeling. Most people simply wonder through life with no awareness of what they are thinking or feeling until after it is a part of the past, if even then. Now you might be thinking, “of course I know what I think and feel! How silly is this guy!” However, I assure you that you most likely do not know most of the time. See, we see or hear or our thoughts in our minds, but we never truly pay attention to them. We might think nice car, and instantly to go it’s a nice day. Our minds and emotions are constantly jumping around to many different things all the time based on what is going on around us. But we must learn to put our mind and our emotions in the place that we want them to be.
Most people are living in the past or are detached from the present. What I mean by that is simple. Most people are either constantly being pulled by their emotions and thoughts based on what just happened or what they just thought about or felt about. Other people are simply detached emotionally from what is happening. Both of these are very bad when it comes to the law of attraction. The emotionally detached people have a hard time connecting with positive emotions and what they want on a deep mental and emotional level. The people who are emotionally in the past are constantly chasing something that is completely gone forever and will never come back. Niether of these are in this very present moment, which is all we ever have. The more you can learn to live right now in this moment, the better off you will be all around.
So learn to pay attention to your thoughts and your emotions on a regular basis. After you begin to realize what thoughts you are having and what holds your attention both mentally and emotionally, you can begin to change those thoughts and emotions to be more in alignment with what you truly want. The more you are able to keep your mind on what you want and your emotions on what you want, the easier it will be for you to get what you want. The law of attraction really is that simple. The hard part is learning to manage our thoughts and our emotions. Work at it, and I promise it will become much easier with practice, then you can begin to create magic in your life that others will look at in amazement.

Enforcing The Law of Attraction – Making it Work
By Dave Ferguson
There has been a building wave of interest in The Secret, the video produced by Rhonda Byrne and first released in March of 2006. I think those of us who have seen it would agree that it’s a compelling presentation.
The “Law” is that your focused desire for a result will allow forces in the universe to drive that result to you. According to Wikipedia, William Walker Atkinson first used the phrase “law of attraction” in this sense about a hundred years ago. The actual inspiration for Rhonda Byrne’s video was reading in 2004 the book The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles, first published in 1910.
As a coach, I hesitate to criticize anything that results in success. But, you don’t need an advanced physics degree to understand the “Law of Attraction”. In fact, you have probably been using the principles your entire life without being conscious of it. The Reticular Activating System, RAS, is the ability of your subconscious to recognize connections once your consciousness has focused on an idea. Think of those times when you have lost something. You know it is merely misplaced, but after diligently searching you finally give up. Hours later, for some unexplained reason, you suddenly remember where you put the object. Your subconscious had been working the entire time to sift through information until a connection could be established. RAS, combined with the power of positive thinking, is the practical explanation for the results people experience.
This is how I describe it to clients: Imagine your dream, your ultimate goal. It’s a thought in your mind, sometime in the future. It’s almost as though it is at end of a long corridor. Each day you are moving closer to it. People with extreme focus will eventually reach their goal. This is the power of positive thinking. But, if you also open your mind to everything associated with that goal, you will soon discover that as you move down that corridor you will notice many doorways. Some are just storage closets filled with the accumulated baggage of life. But others are doorways to unexpected possibilities. Because your mind is open to those possibilities, you realize the connections to your goals and you can seize upon the opportunities they present. It is through these unanticipated possibilities that you begin to live your dreams. These possibilities create new possibilities. They make possible what appeared at first to be impossible.
Desiring a result is not enough. Think of it as “The Law of AttrACTION”!

Abundance and the Universal Law of Attraction
By Miles Tyler
The universe is dancing with energy. It is resonating with the song of consciousness. Mirroring our minds, the universe is in a constant state of flux. We all live within our own pocket of personal universal flux. It is how we interact with our reality and shape it with our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. The problem is that most people are too busy complaining about the clouds and storms to fully realize the universe of possibilities that exist beyond as well as within. They are so busy reacting negatively to things that are “beyond their control” that they fail to even realize that they are in control all of the time. They simply refuse to let go and see the truth because they aren’t allowing themselves to see how they can benefit from doing so. Because they refuse to see the truth they also fail to be happy and grateful for the abundance that will sprout forth once the rains have passed.
The truth is that dwelling on what is negative in our lives and constantly thinking about what is bad is what we are predisposed as human beings to do. It is our natural way of dealing and reacting with the stimulus we experience. Pain and suffering hurt and so we remember the negative feelings that they bring. We develop a sense of dread for these negative experiences by dwelling on them and in doing so we create the very situations that we are wanting to avoid. We attract the very things that we don’t want in our lives. Many people experience scarcity on a daily basis because that is what they think about and that is what they expect. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be this way. It is a very difficult thing for some people to change these patterns, but it can be done. The process takes time, but if we are willing, we can learn to expect good things in our lives and in doing so we will prepare ourselves to receive them.
Our patterns of thought and emotion can be controlled consciously and that is where the key secret lies. We must learn to see the universe around us for what it truly is. It is a place of immense abundance and opportunity. Through positive emotions and focused thoughts, we can attract the very things into our lives that we need to create the perfect reality for ourselves. Through becoming more conscious of our thoughts and behavior, we can find unlimited peace, joy and happiness. We can also learn to spread this to others and help them to find their own path to realizing their own dreams.
Quite simply put, if you believe with all of your heart that you are going to fail at something you most probably will. On the other hand, if you believe with every fiber of your being that you going to succeed, then you not only will succeed but you will also receive everything that you need along the way to accomplishing your goal.
We each have an entire universe of unrealized possibilities and potential residing within us just waiting to be unleashed. What are you going to do with yours?

Earl Nightingale’s Strangest Secret – The Secret Is Out
By Deon Du Plessis
Earl Nightingale’s Strangest Secret is probably one of the most significant personal development works of the decade and the truths contained in this program really is life transforming. The Strangest Secret answers so many unanswered questions and the transforming truth of this strange secret contains the answer to many people’s lives of desperation, striving and ‘bad’ circumstances.
Earl Nightingale’s Strangest Secret is simply this: You become what you think about. Your thoughts are your ultimate power in life and every person’s life is governed by this ultimate law. We live in an exact universe. That which we generally refer to as ‘chance’ or ‘luck’ or ‘fate’ is nothing but a natural law exerting itself. The law of thought and of mind is the law that governs your entire being.
Although this transforming truth has been revealed many times over, the majority of people never believed it. When you study the ancient religious documents, there is one universal truth that is reflected in virtually ALL of them and it is this: we become what we think about. Even if you study the work and the writings of all the great avatars who ever lived – Michelangelo, Beethoven, Einstein, Lao Tzu, Edison – they all tapped into this ultimate law which is Earl Nightingale’s Strangest Secret.
To the rational thinking human being, caught up in the daily grind, this law might sound incredibly strange and almost unbelievable – maybe even a little bit silly, but when you start to trace your circumstances back to your dominating thoughts, you will see just how accurate this law actually is. In his wonderful book As A Man Thinketh, James Allen wrote that ‘a man’s circumstances does not make him, but that it reveals him’ and that by virtue of your thoughts you will make or unmake your entire life.
The challenge that most people face is that they offer their thoughts in response to their circumstances. According to the law of thought, you will only attract into your life what you think about and consequently you end up attracting more of what you already have. Your current circumstances are only a reflection of your past thoughts. If you keep your thoughts on what you already have, you will only continue to produce more of that.
Your thoughts are powerful on many different levels. On the most esoteric level you are nothing but a thought and even on a deep psychological level your thoughts make up your entire character. Your thoughts are also that which you act upon and what you think about is what you will move towards – you simply cannot help but to. Just try not to think of a pink elephant after I’ve mentioned the words ‘pink elephant’!
Thought is everything and Earl Nightingale’s strangest secret, regardless of how strange it might be, really does reflect one of the great secrets and one of the great laws of the universe. People are anxious to improve their circumstances, but they are unwilling to improve themselves. I am here to remind you that whatever you want to manifest in your life, it all starts with a thought. That which you keep your thoughts on must come into being according to this great and ultimate law of the universe.
One of the ways you can start to use this great law is to simply start paying attention to your thoughts. You don’t have to monitor your every thought, but start paying attention to ‘where’ you spend your emotional time. Dedicating time to deliberately offering your thoughts to what you want most in your life will start to activate the creative process and as you focus your attention on what you do want, you will start to change your habitual thinking.
Earl Nightingale’s strangest secret is out, and you have the choice to either use it deliberately in your life and to get what you want or to ignore it and get whatever shows up. Getting whatever shows up is usually nothing but a result of your rampant and habitual thoughts – which is almost always the result of ‘what is’. To change yourself and your life from ‘what is’ to what you truly want for yourself, it all starts with your thoughts and this great law never fails.
People Love Money
By Mike Abraham
Based on the media’s ever present fascination with celebrities and athletes, most of whom I would consider filthy rich, is it any wonder why money is so important? The celebrities of today have replaced the nobility of yesterday and the one common factor between those two groups is money.
These days it’s impossible to pick up a magazine or newspaper without happening upon a story about some celebrity or athlete that signed a new multi-million dollar movie deal, or advertising deal, or 5 year contract. Different websites and news mediums post their Top 50 or Top 100 people of the year. Ever notice that the billionaires keep getting richer? Now those people love their money.
Take, for example, the latest internet craze of internet marketing. Well, craze is too strong of a word since it’s actually can earn you some decent money if you do it right. We’re even starting to see the big advertising giants getting involved on their clients behalf and spending their money on advertising in video games.
There’s also the affiliate marketing arena. Now that is something I have been impressed with so far. Like anything there are the pretenders and the get rich quick schemes out there, but patience and research do really pay off and you might be lucky enough to find a group of like-minded individuals who love money and love sharing knowledge and helping others.
How much money is there in this world if a company can spend hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars advertising above a urinal in a virtual world? It really says something about the world today.
Money isn’t evil though. Many have heard the phrase that “Money is the root of all evil”. I don’t agree with that. Money is just a means to an end. It’s greed that’s the problem. How much money is too much money? If you had 1 million dollars, would that be enough? How about 10 million dollars?
There is such a division between the rich and the poor in the world today that 90% of the world’s wealth is contained within 10% of the worlds population. Doesn’t seem fair does it? The solution? Cap people’s wealth at 100 million and divide up the rest between us.

7 Key Ingredients for Your Life Mastery
By Charlsie Winston
There are many levels of creation. Therefore, there are many levels of possible life mastery. As long as creativity, creating and manifesting, dominates your existence, you will keep growing and evolving.
Life itself is a creative enterprise in which you are continously creating and manifesting. To get in touch with the core of life leading to your life mastery, you have to get in touch with the creative power of the Universe.
No matter your age, what you are doing or experiencing, there are always infinite new skills and insights ahead of you. So, the most meaningful thing you can do while working toward life mastery is to reach your full potential.
It is your responsibility to find the way to your life mastery. Finding your freedom is necessary. This involves letting go of expectations, preconceived outcomes and egotistical points of view.
The important thing is to work toward wholeness. . . bringing body, mind and spirit into unity. This is a process ultimately leading to self- acceptance, non-judgment and unconditional love. It is the road to freedom.
Following are 7 key ingredients helpful when working toward your life mastery:
1. Live in the present. It is the only moment you have and is as it should be. This moment is as it is, because the Universe is as it is. Don’t struggle with the infinite scheme of things. When you resist the flow of life, what you are actually resisting is your own inner nature. Yes, know what you want and focus on that with the intention of manifesting it into your life, without struggle and strife. However, live in the moment. . . for it is in the moment that you can consciously create and manifest.
2. Take time to be silent and quieten the internal dialogue. In moments of silence you are re-contacting your source of pure awareness. This is when you can listen to and follow your intuition, rather than external interpretations of what is or isn’t right for you. Silence is the great teacher and to learn its lessons you must pay attention to it. Creative inspiration, knowledge and security come from contacting your core of inner silence.
3. Relinquish your need for external approval. No matter what anyone else thinks, you alone are the only judge of your worth. And, it is your responsibility to find the infinite worth in yourself. There is tremendous freedom in this realization.
4. Let go of the need to judge. When you judge you eliminate the ability to understand, and you shut down the process of learning to have compassion and to love. In judging others you reflect back your own lack of self-acceptance.
5. Replace fear-motivated behavior with love-motivated behavior. Fear is brought about by memory that dwells in your past. You remember an old hurt. You then direct energy toward making sure that doesn’t happen again. However, wiping out the threat of hurt can only happen when you find the security of your own being. . . love. Your inner power is not vulnerable to fear.
6. Know that the world ‘out there’ reflects your reality ‘in here’. What you most love out there, or in others, is what you most wish for in yourself. Use the mirror of your relationships to learn about yourself and to guide your evolution.
7. Listen to your body’s wisdom. It expresses itself through signals of comfort and discomfort. The health of every cell contributes to your state of well-being. Every cell is a point of awareness within the energy field of awareness that is you.
There is truth about yourself at every level of your awareness. So, your goal when working toward life mastery is that of self-discovery, self-knowledge and self-acceptance.
After you peel back all the many layers of you on your path toward life mastery, you find the most basic truths. . . you are love, compassion and beauty. You are existence and being. You are awareness and spirit.
Your purpose is to ultimately grow to the point where ‘I am love’ is at the surface of your consciousness. . . not buried deep within. This is your true nature.
Understand that the physical world is a mirror of a deeper intelligence and is the invisible organizer of all matter and energy. And, at an energy level you are linked to everything and everyone. Every thought and action you have makes an impression on the whole field of intelligence. . . thus, in some manner affecting all that is.
In its most complete sense, life mastery means learning about and handling the whole of life. It is a process of complete integration of mind, body and spirit. . . that of learning and being your true nature.
After many years of working toward your life mastery and all it entails, the circle of life eventually comes to a close. Your life’s purpose is fulfilled. You have become whole. You have mastered life. You are free!

The Law of Attraction and Quantum Physics
“If thoughts can do that to water, imagine what our thoughts can do to us.” – from the movie, What the Bleep Do We Know!?
By Kate Corbin
The Law of Attraction teaches that we attract into our lives whatever we focus on. Quantum Physics teaches that nothing is fixed, that there are no limitations, that everything is vibrating Energy. By understanding that everything is Energy in a state of potential and by applying the Law of Attraction to bring into our lives what we focus on, it is never necessary to feel stuck with an undesirable life.
We are Creators of the Universe. The classical physics of Newton takes a material perspective in which the Universe is composed of discrete building blocks, solid and unchangeable. Quantum physics takes a spiritual perspective in which there are no separate parts, in which everything is fluid and always changing.
The physical world is a sea of Energy constantly flashing into and out of existence. It is through our thoughts that we transform this ever-changing Energy into observable reality. Therefore, we can create our reality with our thoughts. With quantum physics, science is leaving behind the notion that human beings are powerless victims and moving toward an understanding that we are fully empowered creators of our lives and of our world.
“With Newton, we were insignificant cogs in the Universal Machinery. With quantum physics, we are Creators of the Universe.”
Everything is Energy. Einstein’s 1905 formula E = mc2 explains the relationship between Energy and matter, i.e., that Energy and matter are interchangeable – that, in reality, everything is Energy – dancing, fluid, ever-changing Energy.
This Energy is influenced by our thoughts. It is shapeable, formable, and moldable. As Creators, we shape, form and mold the Energy of the Universe through our thoughts. We transform the Energy of our thoughts into the Energy of our reality.
The Physics of Possibility. The popular movie, What the Bleep Do We Know!?, clarifies that quantum physics is the physics of possibility. We have been conditioned to believe that the external world is more real than the internal world. Quantum physics says just the opposite. It says that what’s happening on the inside determines what’s happening on the outside. It says that our world is shaped by our thoughts.
Since nothing is fixed and everything is in a state of potential, everything is possible. As we understand that everything is possible, and as we focus our thoughts on what we want to attract, we can literally call into existence whatever we desire.
My ten-year old neighbor loves the expression – “It could happen!” He probably doesn’t know much about the physics of possibility, but he practices it with his great attitude. He reminds me to entertain possibility. He reminds me that nothing is impossible.
Dreams into Reality. The Universe exists as infinite potential in infinite abundance. As we focus our thoughts, we have the power to bring our desires into existence, our dreams into reality. As we focus our thoughts, we have the power to be and do and have whatever we desire.

Law of Attraction – Is Wealth Mentality a Spiritual Principle?
By Shauna Arthurs
There seems to be a lot of talk about religion surrounding the Law of Attraction, and it might be nice to put the focus back to where it belongs when working with this principle: on creating good feelings.
The truth is that whether we are talking about Law of Attraction or religion, it is of benefit to anyone to be able to feel good about themselves, and create good things in their lives.
If you google the words ‘happy’ and ‘money’ together, you may be amazed and saddened by all the search results just in the FIRST page that talk about money and happiness NOT being compatible.
Here is an example of the lack programming that gets fed to us, from none other than Ben Franklin:
“Money never made a man happy yet, nor will it. There is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more a man has, the more he wants. Instead of its filling a vacuum, it makes one. If it satisfies one want, it doubles and trebles that want another way. That was a true proverb of the wise man, rely upon it; “Better is little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasure, and trouble therewith.”"– Benjamin FranklinIs it any wonder we sabotage ourselves unconsciously when it comes to money? This is the type of thinking that keeps so many people in poverty, and can be dissolved and transformed with new beliefs about financial abundance.
Spirituality can be wonderful, and so too can financial abundance…If nothing else, think of the greater amount of good you could do with more money, if this is where you need to focus to get this point.
Of course money itself is not the goal: money is just paper and metal…dig deeper and really it’s just an IDEA that passes around in the ether these days, for the most part (that is a subject for another day!).
There is nothing wrong with wanting MORE, unless it becomes an endless obsession for some vacant promise in the ’someday’, which robs you of all joy in your NOW moments.
Passion for creating more abundance; for expressing our gifts and receiving return for them on a massive scale is no more and no less than an expression of our ever-expanding Universe in action.
Abundance and prosperity include money AND happiness.

Metabolizing Your Daily Thoughts
By Stephen Hopson
When you make a decision to commit to a lifestyle change, you are in effect “metabolizing” your thoughts on a deep cellular level, leading you to change your way of being. How you think, act and behave are permanent altered.
Ever since “The Secret” hit mainstream consciousness, a lot of people have misunderstood the principles behind the law of attraction. They think it’s about sitting in their favorite recliner and imagining themselves being, doing and becoming the things they want to attract.
Yes, that’s part of it but there’s more. A lot more.
It involves elevating your level of consciousness and becoming more aware of your thought process, examining your belief system and actively changing what doesn’t work.
If you desire better health, you’d be choosing to eat healthier foods and exercising more. Your thoughts will no longer remain mired on aches and pains and all the medications that go with them.
Let’s say you’ve been invited to a picnic with your friends on a beautiful, gorgeous day. Assuming you’ve made a decision to get healthier, rather than complaining to everyone how much your leg hurts or regaling them with horror stories from the last visit to the hospital, you’ll be in the moment and take in the beautiful weather, enjoy a fun game of horseshoe and feel grateful for the friends who are there with you at the picnic. If you think and behave like this consistently in every area of your life, the aches and pains will soon become a thing of the past because you are no longer focusing on what you don’t want!
By making conscious changes to the way we think and perceive the world around us, we become more aware of the quality of thoughts that go through our minds and discard the ones that don’t work. We begin to metabolize the kind of thoughts that allow us to see the good in others, develop an attitude of gratitude and believe that everything happens for a divine reason, to name a few.
We all want more prosperity, right? For the law of attraction to work in this area, visualizing financial freedom is only one aspect of it. Examining your money belief system is another piece of the puzzle. You could be visualizing a bulging bank account until you’re blue in the face but if you have limiting or self-defeating thoughts like, “Money is the root of all evil, ” “Donald Trump is filthy rich” or “Becoming wealthy only happens to other people,” then you’ll be stuck in a rut until you actively dismantle those thoughts.
The law of attraction requires what I like to call the “metabolizing of prosperity thoughts” to manifest more money. How do you do that? By acting “as if.” Tithe as if you already have a lot in the bank. Dress nicer. Expect a check in the mail. When writing a check, instead of thinking it will lower your bank balance, see it being replenished easily and effortlessly. White out your bank balance and add a few zeros to it.
“I’ll believe it when I see it.”
I’m sure you’ve heard that one before. Perhaps you’ve said this yourself at one time or another. In order to attract what you want, the opposite is true. The unseen needs to be metabolized in your thought process before they arrive in physical reality.
Why?
Because the universe is like one giant mirror. It reflects back to you what you see in your mind’s eye and believe on a cellular level that you will be, do or have. I think it was Gandhi who said that we need to change our inner world first before the outer world will reflect it.
Here are a couple of quotes I have up on my vision board. They are from the mega-best selling book from the 1990’s, “Conversation with God” by Neale Donald Walsch (he made a brief appearance in “The Secret”):
“When you “make up your mind” about something, you set the universe into motion. Forces beyond your ability to comprehend — far more subtle and complex than you could imagine — are engaged in a process, the intricate dynamics of which you are only just now beginning to understand.”
“Nothing comes to you by accident. There is no such thing as coincidence. Nothing occurs at random. Life is not a product of chance. Events, like people, are drawn to you, by you, for your own purposes.’
Food for thought: Let these two quotes “metabolize” in your mind and take precedence in your daily thinking. They will go a long way to helping understand the law of attraction and gradually bring about desirable lifestyle changes for you!
