The Law Of Attraction – How To Release Negative Feelings

It is surprisingly common for people to “give up” before what they are manifesting comes to fruition. When working with the Law of Attraction, you may feel frustrated or in doubt of your vision when things are not working out exactly as you envisioned. Experiencing the negative feelings from time to time is normal. It is when we get stuck in them, that the negative emotions then become a magnet that attracts things into your life…and the results are likely to be very different from what you really want. The question is, how do you deal with these negative emotions?

First, it is important to remember to allow the Law of Gestation to work in alliance with the Law of Attraction. Just as it takes a certain period of time to gestate a baby, a puppy, a flower, a tree, or a mosquito…so it also takes a certain period of time to gestate anything. If you have placed your order, trust in that! Allow yourself to remain open to receive it.

In the meantime, the following exercise can help you release any negative feelings that come up, so that you can shift your feelings back into the positive. Before starting, prepare yourself and your environment to be free from distraction for about 30 minutes. Turn off the phones. Draw the blinds if it helps you. Take care of anything that might distract you. Retreat to a quiet place and sit or recline in a comfortable position. If you have some music that relaxes and comforts you, you will likely find it helpful if you play it at a comfortable (but not distracting) level during this exercise. Close your eyes. Begin to take some slow, deep breaths. As you breathe in, pay close attention to the way it feels as the breath enters your body and fills up your lungs. Then, as you exhale, pay close attention to the way it feels as the breath leaves your body.

As you begin to feel quiet and centered within yourself, give yourself permission to have felt whatever negative emotions you have been feeling about your vision and how the details have been falling into place. Maybe you were feeling stuck, frustrated, sad, or angry. Perhaps you were having trouble seeing that maybe another way is about to be delivered. Acknowledge that feeling those emotions is ok, but also know that those feelings do not serve you or your vision.

Now, focus again on your breathing. As you breathe in, begin to feel your whole body fill up with empowerment, gratitude, and love. As you breathe out, you feel the negative energy just leaving your body. Each time you breathe in, the sense of empowerment, gratitude, and love expands and radiates throughout your body, from your lungs and chest out through your head, fingers, and toes.

Continue this visualization until you can see and feel that you are a beacon of light, overflowing with empowerment, gratitude, and love! When you can see and feel it, just continue to breathe in and out, relaxing in the moment. When you are ready, you can open your eyes, and just sit and enjoy this feeling of peace, of knowing that all is as it should be. Now you are in a better place to be attracting things that are more in alignment with your vision and what you want!
